Hyundai Exter : पुणे के बानेर रोड पर स्थित Hyundai शोरूम में पिछले हफ्ते असामान्य भीड़ देखने को मिली। शोरूम मैनेजर विकास पाटिल बताते हैं, “लोग सुबह से लाइन में लगे थे। कई कस्टमर्स ने बिना टेस्ट ड्राइव के ही बुकिंग कर दी।” ये उत्साह था Hyundai Exter के लिए, जो मात्र 6 लाख रुपये की शुरुआती कीमत में SUV का अनुभव देने का वादा करती है। इस कीमत में मिलने वाले फीचर्स देखकर लगता है जैसे Hyundai ने बाजार के नियम ही बदल दिए हों।
डिज़ाइन में दिखती है प्रीमियम अपील
Exter को देखकर पहली नज़र में ही इसकी SUV वाली personality साफ झलकती है। 3815mm की लंबाई के बावजूद ये सड़क पर काफी बड़ी और imposing लगती है। Parametric jewel pattern grille और H-shaped LED DRLs इसे modern और stylish look देते हैं। 15 इंच के dual-tone alloy wheels छोटी गाड़ियों में rarely देखने को मिलते हैं।

Hyundai ने hint दिया है कि electric variant भी pipeline में है। Turbo petrol engine का option भी consider किया जा रहा है। Exter की success ने prove किया है कि Indian customers quality और features के लिए premium pay करने को तैयार हैं बशर्ते overall package value for money हो।
Small SUV segment fastest growing है और Exter ने इसमें अपनी strong position बना ली है। जैसे-जैसे और customers sedan/hatchback से SUV shift करेंगे, Exter की demand और बढ़ेगी। Hyundai का plan है कि production capacity बढ़ाकर waiting period कम किया जाए जो currently 2-3 months है।
